Nordic Ecolabel
The swan label (i.e. the Nordic ecolabel) is an official ecolabel used in the Nordic countries. The mark indicates that the product or service marked with it meets the environmental criteria designed for it. It proves that the product has been designed and manufactured in the best possible way for the environment, taking into account the product’s entire life cycle.
The Nordic Swan Ecolabel is holistic. It promotes resource efficiency, reduced climate impact, a non-toxic circular economy and conservation of biodiversity – always with a strong focus on health. The entire lifecycle is considered, from raw materials, production, and use to recycling and disposal, and to obtain the Nordic Swan Ecolabel you have to meet its requirements that ensure quality and durability.
